About you
At Resilient Kidz, we pride ourselves on taking a very personal and compassionate approach to all our services and programs. In order to be successful in your application, you will need to show that your approach to your work at Resilient Kidz will hold our clients wellbeing, goals and development as the priority in all you do.
We specialise in providing disability services and therapy to children, teenagers and young adults. This is why many of our clients trust Resilient Kicks for our innovative and tailored approach. This means that you will need to be good at working with, engaging with, relating to and building rapport with younger age groups.
Our innovative approach
One reason why Resilient Kidz has seen many fantastic outcomes for our younger clients is that we take an innovative non-clinical approach to our services. We understand that often with these younger age groups, they can be reluctant to engage in clinical settings. This is why we take a personal and non-threatening approach to ensure our clients thoroughly enjoy support services and therapies and therefore get the most out of it for their development.
What this means for your career
This means that as a part of the Resilient Kidz team, you will need to demonstrate a level of interest in your clients hobbies, likes and dislikes and be able to tailor your sessions and approach to each client. With younger children you may need to engage in physical play, sports and other physical activities or outings that can be therapeutic and help their development such as walks, bike rides, arts and crafts etc.
