Art Therapy NDIS
Adelaide Art Therapy
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) acknowledges Adelaide Art Therapy as a form of Psychological and Counselling Therapy for those with NDIS funding allocated to these categories within their NDIS service agreement. This assists in making Art Therapy and creative therapy accessible to many with children and young adults living with disability and developmental delay as a therapeutic outlet. When registering for our Art Therapy services, we will discuss the relevant options for NDIS art therapy.
Often children and adolescents, in particular, feel reluctant to engage in most forms of psychological therapy or counselling. Adelaide Art Therapy allows these younger age groups to engage in therapy just as effective as clinical forms, through an engaging, fun and creative therapy Adelaide. We also offer Group Art Therapy sessions for those participants who would also benefit from community involvement, social interaction and friendship opportunities.
Creative Therapy Adelaide
There are limited options when searching for Creative Therapy Adelaide. Art Therapy has shown to be one of the most beneficial forms of creative therapy available, particularly in younger age groups. Many children and adolsecents have creative minds and seek a creative outlet to express this interest. The way that the therapy is incorporated into Art Therapy sessions is subtle yet effective. This means that you or your child will still be fulfilling their creative needs and are likely to best engage in the sessions through this creative and fun approach.
